Our featured home is owned by Bart
and Marnie Simpson, who also own the
125-year-old Tarpon Inn, a treasured
landmark still welcoming guests in Port
Aransas. Their fondness for the historic
Inn inspired much of the architecture
and interior of their spacious home in
Key Allegro. The pristine white moldings,
wainscoting, 8 ft. tall doors, honed
Carrara marble countertops in the
kitchen and bathrooms as well as transom-
like window styles were
“borrowed” from the Inn.
